What is Mehron Spirit Gum Remover?
Mehron Spirit Gum Remover is a liquid solvent on an alcohol base, developed specifically to dissolve Mehron Spirit Gum and Mehron Spirit Gum Mat from the skin. How to use Spirit Gum Remover
Step 1: prepare a cotton pad. Pour a small amount of Mehron Spirit Gum Remover onto a clean cotton pad. One cap is usually enough for an average prosthetic.
Step 2: dab along the edge. Gently dab the cotton pad along the edges of the bonded prosthetic, crepe hair or wig. Allow the remover to work for about 10 to 20 seconds so it can penetrate the adhesive.
Step 3: let the remover do the work. Do not actively rub with the cotton pad. The remover dissolves the adhesive as you gently dab. The prosthetic will come away from the skin on its own. Step 4: cleanse the skin. Clean the skin with warm water and soap to remove any remaining remover and adhesive residue. Pro tip: after cleansing, it can be comfortable for your model to apply a nourishing cream to the skin. The combination of Spirit Gum, remover and cleansing can slightly dry out the skin, and a moisturising cream restores the natural moisture balance.
