What is Mouldlife Aquafix?
Aquafix is a water-based skin adhesive that sets into a waterproof, flexible layer on the skin. Unlike alcohol-based adhesives such as spirit gum, Aquafix uses a gentle water-based formula. It is particularly popular for attaching gelatine prosthetics, which sometimes adhere less well with other adhesives.

How to use Aquafix
- Cleanse the skin with alcohol or a skin cleanser to remove oils and make-up.
- Apply a thin layer to the skin or the prosthetic using a cotton bud or brush.
- Wait until the adhesive turns clear: this takes approximately one to two minutes.
- Position the prosthetic on the skin and press firmly.
Removing Aquafix
Aquafix can be removed with oil-based removers such as Sherman Pro-Clean cleansing oil or Mouldlife Life Wipes. Follow up with mild soap and water to remove any remaining adhesive from the skin.
