This Toupee Tape is a medical-grade double-sided tape, designed to attach hair pieces such as wigs, beards, moustaches and eyebrows securely and invisibly. The tape is 25 mm wide and 5 metres long, made from a polyethylene-coated rayon fabric so it stays thin, flexible and skin-friendly.
What is Toupee Tape?
Toupee Tape is a double-sided tape supplied on a 5 metre roll, 25 mm wide. The rayon backing is coated with polyethylene and finished with a skin-friendly adhesive layer on both sides. That lets you attach hair pieces safely without using liquid adhesive.
Beyond wigs and hair work, this tape is also regularly used to temporarily hold stencils in place during face paint, make-up and airbrush work.

How to use Toupee Tape
- Degrease the skin thoroughly with a cleanser or alcohol wipe.
- Make sure the skin is clean and dry.
- Cut a piece of tape to the desired length.
- Remove the first backing layer and place the tape on the hair piece or the skin.
- Remove the second backing layer.
- Press the hair piece firmly into position and hold for a few seconds.
Important tips
Apply the tape to the skin only, not to your own hair. That way you avoid damaging hair when removing the tape later. Got sensitive skin? Test the tape on a small patch of skin before wearing it for longer periods.
Any adhesive residue can be removed easily with a suitable remover. Store the tape in a dry place at room temperature so the adhesive strength stays at its best.
