How to use Superstar Mastix
Follow these steps for the best bond:
- Preparation: Make sure the skin is clean and dry. For the strongest hold, degrease the skin beforehand with alcohol.
- Apply: Use the built-in brush to apply a thin layer of Mastix directly onto the skin and onto the prosthetic.
- Wait: Leave the adhesive to dry for a few seconds until it becomes tacky.
- Bond: Press the prosthetic firmly onto the skin and secure any edges with a little extra adhesive if needed.
How to remove Mastix skin adhesive
Removing Mastix skin adhesive is straightforward with the right products:
- Use Superstar Mastix Remover for quick and effective removal.
- No remover to hand? A little oil such as olive oil or make-up remover will help break down the adhesive.
- Apply the remover with a cotton pad and leave it to soak in briefly before gently lifting the adhesive away.
