Diamond FX Neon Yellow 30gr - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Neon Yellow 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a vivid yellow colour that glows under UV/blacklight. The wax base lets you build up layers easily without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30g pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Neon is hypoallergenic, gluten-free, and free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight events and festivals, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all our Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - work with a water container and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic fibres that don't shed. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense neon shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially formulated to remove Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp wipe that takes the face paint off in one sweep, ideal at events and children's parties where you're painting face after face

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Neon is hypoallergenic, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, gluten-free and contains no animal ingredients. Neon is a special-effects pigment that is skin-safety tested, but not classified as an everyday cosmetic by the FDA - use it for UV/blacklight effects rather than daily wear. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
A 30g pot covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become fully vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bright.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is actually one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
