Diamond FX Neon Yellow 30gr - wax-based face paint

The Diamond FX Neon Yellow 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a vivid yellow colour that glows under UV/blacklight. The wax base lets you build up layers easily without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30g pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - work with a water container and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic fibres that don't shed. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense neon shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?

Yes, Diamond FX Neon is hypoallergenic, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, gluten-free and contains no animal ingredients. What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become fully vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bright.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is actually one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through.
