Diamond FX Neon Orange 30gr - face paint wax-based

The Diamond FX Neon Orange 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with a vivid neon-orange colour that glows under UV/blacklight. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30 gram pot you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

Diamond FX Neon is hypoallergenic, gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight effects and festivals, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all our Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the paint with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours vivid and pure - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

  • Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic hairs that don't shed. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
  • Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
  • Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or becoming dull.
  • Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier helps with removal and prevents staining (pigment residue) from intense neon shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

For a cleaner and faster removal without scrubbing:

  • Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
  • Remover Towel - a moist cloth that takes off the paint in one swipe, ideal at events and festivals

What to use Diamond FX Neon Orange for

  • UV/blacklight events and festivals - the neon-orange colour glows brightly under UV/blacklight for a striking glow effect
  • Halloween and theme parties - vivid orange for neon-zombie looks, pumpkin looks and horror themes with a blacklight twist
  • Children's face painting and parties - bold, cheerful orange accents for tigers, foxes, flame looks and carnival themes
  • Body painting and UV shows - intense neon-orange areas that glow under blacklight on stage or in art installations
  • Cosplay and festival make-up - accents and highlights in neon-orange for futuristic looks and character make-up

Frequently asked questions

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?

Yes, Diamond FX Neon is hypoallergenic, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, gluten-free and contains no animal ingredients. Neon is special-effects pigmentation and is skin-safety tested, but is not classified as FDA cosmetic-approved for everyday use - use it for UV/blacklight effects rather than regular cosmetic purposes. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.

How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?

A 30 gram pot covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours, including Neon Orange, are opaque and vivid under regular light.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
