What is coloured hairspray purple?

Goodmark Coloured Hairspray Purple is a temporary hair lacquer in a 125 ml aerosol. You spray it onto dry hair; the colour sits on the hair, not in it. That makes it easy to apply and easy to remove. The can contains 125 ml and covers multiple looks.

How do you apply this purple hairspray?

1. Cover your costume, shoulders and face with a cloth or old towel before you start
2. Shake the can vigorously for at least 1.5 minutes to mix the pigment through the propellants
3. Hold the can upright, about 20 cm from your hair
4. Spray in short bursts over dry hair, layer by layer until you reach the coverage you want
5. Allow a few seconds to dry before moving your head
6. Want extra hold or a matte finish? Finish off with your own fixing hair lacquer

Tip: spray purple over your whole hair first, then add black to the tips for a gradient effect. On light hair the full purple tone comes through the strongest.

Safety and warnings

• Do not use near open flames, candles or sparks: the spray is flammable
• Can is pressurised: do not pierce, break open or store near hot surfaces
• Avoid contact with the eyes; if it does get in, rinse thoroughly with water
• Do not apply to chemically treated hair (such as freshly dyed or permed hair)
• Not suitable for children under 6 years of age

Washing out and removing

Wash the hairspray out with regular shampoo in the shower. Work in two rounds: first lather well and rinse to loosen most of the pigment, then wash again for a clean, residue-free result. On very light hair a faint purple tint may remain after one wash; a second wash with a nourishing shampoo will take care of that.
