What is coloured hairspray sunny yellow?

The Goodmark Coloured Hairspray Sunny Yellow is a temporary hair lacquer in a 125 ml aerosol. You spray the colour onto dry hair, not into it - the yellow sits as a layer over your hair. After the event, it washes out with ordinary shampoo.

How do you apply this yellow hairspray?

1. Cover your costume, shoulders and face with a cloth or old towel before you start
2. Shake the can vigorously for at least 1.5 minutes so the pigment mixes with the propellants
3. Hold the can upright, about 20 cm away from your hair
4. Spray in short bursts over dry hair, layer by layer until you reach the coverage you want
5. Wait a few seconds before moving your head to let it dry
6. Want extra hold or a matte finish? Finish with your own regular hairspray on top

Tip: the yellow comes out brightest on light or blonde hair. On darker hair, expect a golden-yellow glow instead. Test a small section first before going all over.

Safety and warnings

• Do not use near open flames, candles or sparks: the spray is highly flammable
• Can is pressurised: do not pierce, break open or store near hot surfaces
• Avoid contact with the eyes; if it does get in, rinse thoroughly with water
• Do not apply to chemically treated hair (such as recently dyed or permed hair)
• Not suitable for children under 6 years of age

Washing out and removing

The hairspray washes out with ordinary shampoo in the shower. Work in two rounds: lather and rinse thoroughly first to remove most of the pigment, then wash again for a completely clean result. On very light hair a faint yellow tint may linger after one wash; a second wash with a nourishing shampoo will take care of that.
