LiquiSet is a clear, acrylic-based mixing liquid that you combine with face paint or powder pigments. By swapping water for LiquiSet you activate colours more intensely, the product applies more smoothly and sits more firmly on the skin without needing a separate setting spray. Once dry, the make-up is smudgeproof and water-resistant.

How to use the mixing medium

Step 1: Prepare your brush or sponge. Take your brush or sponge and give it one or two short sprays of LiquiSet directly onto the bristles or surface. No need to dilute it with water.

Step 2: Activate. Dip the moistened brush or sponge directly into your face paint or powder pigment. Thanks to the LiquiSet base, the colour picks up more intensely and the make-up feels smoother to apply.

Step 3: Dry. Allow the make-up a moment to dry. After a short drying time the result is smudgeproof and water-resistant. You do not need to apply a separate setting spray when you have used LiquiSet as your activation liquid.

Setting and removal

LiquiSet sets itself. To remove the make-up underneath, use Ben Nye Hydra Cleanse or Ben Nye Quick Cleanse. Wipe away the make-up gently with a cotton pad, then rinse with lukewarm water and a mild facial cleanser.
