The Lumiere Grande Colour line is Ben Nye's collection for maximum shimmer and metallic impact. The twelve pressed shades are chosen for colour work that stands out, from a subtle pearl sheen to full metallic coverage. The palette combines cool and warm shades in one compact set.

The wet/dry technique makes this palette flexible. Dry on a FBFX Blend and Powder Brush Set | Monique gives a wearable everyday shimmer. Wet, the same shade becomes an intense liquid-metal finish that reads clearly under stage lighting and in a photography studio.

The twelve shades cover a broad spectrum: cool accents like RL-4 Silver and RL-12 Cosmic Blue sit alongside warm tones like RL-3 Aztec Gold and RL-7 Tangerine. You can build complex multichrome looks without swapping between separate pots.

How to use Ben Nye Lumiere Grande

Work with a dry or damp FBFX Blend and Powder Brush Set | Monique or a damp sponge, depending on the intensity you want.

• Dry shimmer: pick up product with a dry brush and apply directly to the lid, cheekbone or décolletage for a soft shimmer.
• Liquid-metal: dampen the brush slightly, pick up the shade and press firmly onto the lid for maximum metallic opacity.
• Layering body highlight: use a damp sponge to sweep broadly over the collarbone or shoulder for an editorial body-shimmer look.

Setting and removal

For longer wear, especially on the lid, mist a light layer of Ben Nye Final Seal over the finished look.

Remove shimmer shades with a cotton pad and Ben Nye Quick Cleanse or an oil-based makeup remover. Around the eye area, Blank Canvas Remover works well. Finish with warm water and a gentle face wash.
