Start by cleaning the skin with isopropyl alcohol (99%). A grease-free surface gives the ink better adhesion.

Place the stencil on the skin and hold it firmly in place. Use your airbrush to spray the base shape through the negative part first, then replace the positive part for the fine details of the scales, fins and lotus petals. Build up in thin layers and work gradually.

Want a longer-lasting result? Set the tattoo with setting powder and gently pat the powder on with a powder brush or soft sponge.
