ProAiir Hybrid Tattoo Pro Black is a deep blue-black airbrush makeup, specially matched for use with TattooPro stencils. The blue-black undertone gives sharper edges and a more realistic tattoo effect than a standard coal-black makeup. Strong pigment coverage, dries in seconds and stays put without smearing or bleeding. Developed for use with the airbrush. These colours also work well applied by hand with a sponge or brush.

How is Tattoo Pro Black different from regular Black?

The standard ProAiir Hybrid Black is coal-black with a neutral undertone. Tattoo Pro Black has a deep blue undertone that imitates the ink-look of real tattoos.

How to apply ProAiir Hybrid Tattoo Pro Black

Shake the bottle before use.

With the airbrush: fill the cup or side-feed using an Easy Pour Twist Cap or Snorkel Adapter. Set the air pressure to a low to medium setting. For pros: around 20 to 30 PSI. Hold your airbrush at roughly 5 cm from the skin for sharp lines, further away for soft coverage. By hand: dab a small amount onto a sponge, kabuki brush, makeup brush or fineliner brush and build up in thin layers. Once dry within seconds, the makeup is smudge-proof and waterproof. Pro tip: When working with TattooPro stencils, keep the airbrush closer to the skin (3 to 5 cm) and use a low PSI for the sharpest edges. A second thin coat adds depth without shifting the stencil.

Setting and removing

No setting is required. As it dries, the makeup becomes smudge-proof and waterproof on its own. If you'd like a little extra hold or a glossy finish, use ProLong or ProLong Satin.

Removal takes about 2 minutes. Use pure liquid soap without water. Massage onto the skin, wipe away with a flannel or baby wipe, then rinse with water. You can also remove it with Alcohol Activated makeup removers such as Mouldlife Life Wipes or Ben Nye Remov-it All. For corrections during use, cosmetic alcohol on a cotton pad works quickest.
