What is a Supercup Mixing Cup?

The Supercup Mixing Cup is a transparent single-use plastic cup with a wide opening. The graduated scale shows both ml and mix ratios (2:1 to 12:1), so you can accurately measure platinum silicones (1:1) and other two-part systems without scales. The clear construction lets you check instantly whether all components are fully blended.

Because these are single-use, there is no risk of contamination between batches. Start each new silicone pour with a clean cup and no residue from the previous mix.

Why choose the Supercup 650cc?

The 650cc volume is practical for medium-scale SFX work: large enough for a full hand prosthetic or a set of small wounds, compact enough to handle easily. The dual graduation (ml and ratio markings) means you do not need a set of scales on the workbench, which speeds up the process considerably when you are working under time pressure on set or at an event.

Choose this size when you need more capacity than a 400cc cup but do not need the volume of a 1300cc cup for a full lifecast. It covers the most common prosthetic and SFX applications neatly in one.

How to use the Supercup Mixing Cup

Read off your mix ratio on the graduated scale (ml or ratio, depending on your product). Pour Part A to the required line, then add Part B to the matching line for your ratio. Stir thoroughly with a disposable spatula or mixing stick, then pour directly into your mould within the working time of your product. Discard the used cup and start the next batch with a fresh one.

Pro tip: For platinum silicones like Polytek PlatSil Gel-10, use the ratio markings rather than ml - it is faster and accurate enough for most prosthetic batches. Use a fresh Wooden Tongue Depressor as your mixing stick to keep contamination to a minimum.
