What are the Scarecrow Shredder Double Vampire Fangs?

These are the original Scarecrow vampire fangs in a wide double format: 21 mm fang length, each cap covers two of your own teeth at once. You get 2 double-caps that you fit once using the included acrylic mixture (similar to what dentists use for crowns). The mixture sets and forms a mould of your teeth inside the cap.

After that, the fangs click on and off without any re-forming needed. They fit over canines and incisors, top or bottom. Scarecrow Inc. has been making these vampire fangs in the USA since 1993 and holds a patent on the system.

How to fit your vampire fangs

Fitting takes about 10 minutes and you only do it once. After that, they snap on instantly.

1. Hold the caps in front of a mirror against your canines and incisors, and choose the position you prefer.
2. Empty the acrylic powder capsule into the included mixing tray and add 8 drops of the liquid. Stir for 30 to 60 seconds until you have a thick, toothpaste-like paste.
3. Apply a small amount to the inner wall of the first double-cap (not into the tip).
4. Press the cap in one smooth motion over your 2 own teeth. Hold still for 5 minutes, no wiggling.
5. Do the same with the second double-cap that covers your other 2 teeth.
6. Remove after 10 to 15 minutes: press your lower teeth against the fangs until you hear a slight click, then carefully remove them.
7. Leave for 24 hours to fully cure. After that, they fit permanently to your own teeth.

Care and reuse

Keep the fangs in the included case. Rinse briefly with cold water after use and dry them off. If they start to feel loose over time, you can re-fit them using the Scarecrow Recustomizing Kit, a refill set with fresh powder and liquid.
