What is Monster Clay used for in SFX?
Monster Clay is a prosthetic-grade sculpting clay made from natural, non-toxic ingredients. Unlike water-based clays, it never dries out. With gentle heating it becomes soft and workable again, so you can reuse the same clay for new sculpts or corrections across multiple projects.

How to use Monster Clay
- Heat the clay briefly in a heat-safe container in the microwave on low power, no more than one minute at a time (overheating turns it to liquid).
- Be careful handling it hot: let it cool slightly before picking it up. The texture at this point is similar to soft putty.
- Sculpt your piece with your usual tools. The material won't cling to your spatula or hands.
- Leave to cool until your sculpt holds its shape before moving to the next step (making a silicone mould).
- Reuse: reheat briefly for your next project.
