What is Diamond FX Dust Powder Silver?

A finely milled, highly pigmented colour powder by Diamond FX in a clear silver with a cool metallic sheen. The 5 gram pot is ideal for highlights, accents and metallic effects on skin, eyelids and body. It works for face and body painting, stage make-up and special-effects work.

How do you use Dust Powder Silver?

The powder works in two ways, depending on the effect you are after.

Dry application for a soft shimmer:

• Dab the powder onto a Diamond FX Kabuki Brush or a powder brush
• Tap off any excess and apply in light layers on skin or eyelids
• Ideal for highlights on top of a finished face paint look

Mixed with Fuse Liquid for an intense metallic finish:

• Drop a few drops of Diamond FX Fuse Liquid onto a mixing palette
• Add a pinch of Dust Powder Silver and stir to a smooth, fluid consistency
• Apply with a fine brush for detail work, liner or larger areas
• Allow a few seconds to dry for a waterproof, long-lasting result

Setting and removing

Applied dry, the powder needs no setting. Mixed with Fuse Liquid, it cures on the skin to form its own film layer.

Removal takes three steps:

• Wipe off the bulk of the powder with a damp cloth or remover towel
• Wash the skin with lukewarm water and Diamond FX Skin Soap for a thorough clean
• Wash any fabric that has come into contact with the powder at 30 degrees with regular detergent
