What is Diamond FX Dust Powder Goldstone?

A finely milled, highly pigmented colour powder by Diamond FX in a warm golden-brown with sparkling flecks. The 5g pot is ideal for highlights, accents and metallic effects on skin, eyelids and body. Suitable for face and body painting, face paint finishing and special-effects make-up.

How do you use Dust Powder Goldstone?

The powder works in two ways, depending on the effect you are after.

Dry application for a soft shimmer:

• Dab the powder onto a Diamond FX Kabuki Brush or a powder brush
• Tap off any excess and apply in light layers on skin or eyelids
• Ideal for highlights on top of a finished face paint look

Mixed with Fuse Liquid for an intense metallic finish:

• Drop a few drops of  Diamond FX Fuse Liquid  onto a mixing palette
• Add a pinch of Dust Powder Goldstone and stir to a smooth, fluid consistency
• Apply with a fine brush for detail work, liner or larger areas
• Allow a few seconds to dry for a waterproof, long-lasting result

Setting and removing

Applied dry, the powder does not need to be set. Mixed with Fuse Liquid, it dries to a film on its own.

Removing is a three-step process:

• Wipe away most of the powder with a damp cloth or  remover towel 
• Wash skin with lukewarm water and  Diamond FX Skin Soap  for a thorough cleanse
• Wash any fabric that has caught powder at 30 degrees with a standard detergent

What can you use it for?

• Warm golden highlights for lion mane looks, carnival characters and animal face paint
• Bark and forest texture on tree, troll or forest spirit looks, mixed with brown and black
• Autumn-themed accents on cheeks, temples and decolletage for seasonal performances
• Human or animal character finishing touches where a warm metallic sheen completes the look
• Eyelid accent for golden fantasy, cosplay or theatre looks
