What is Diamond FX Dust Powder Amber?

A finely milled, richly pigmented colour powder by Diamond FX in a warm honey-gold with a deep glow. The 5g pot is ideal for highlights, accents and metallic effects on skin, eyelids and body. It works for face painting, body art, costume make-up and special-effects work.

How do you use Dust Powder Amber?

The powder works in two ways, depending on the effect you are after.

Dry application for a soft shimmer:

• Dab the powder onto a Diamond FX Kabuki Brush or a powder brush
• Tap off any excess and apply in light layers on skin or eyelids
• Ideal for highlights on top of a finished face paint look

Mixed with Fuse Liquid for an intense metallic finish:

• Drop a few drops of Diamond FX Fuse Liquid onto a mixing palette
• Add a pinch of Dust Powder Amber and stir to a smooth, fluid consistency
• Apply with a fine brush for detail work, liner or larger areas
• Allow a few seconds to dry for a waterproof, long-lasting result

Setting and removing

Applied dry, the powder does not need to be set with a fixative. Mixed with Fuse Liquid, it dries to a film on its own.

Removal is a three-step process:

• Wipe away most of the powder with a damp cloth or remover towel
• Wash skin with lukewarm water and Diamond FX Skin Soap for a thorough cleanse
• Wash any fabric that has picked up powder at 30 degrees with regular detergent

What can you use it for?

• Warm amber highlights on cheekbones and eyelids for autumn-inspired looks
• Dragon or demon make-up: mixed with Fuse Liquid for realistic scales in gold and brown
• Gala and evening looks with a subtle honey-gold shimmer on shoulders and décolleté
• Fantasy and cosplay make-up where warm metallic accents are needed
• Layered over a brown or orange base for a deeper, fierier autumn effect
