What is Diamond FX Dust Powder Citrin?

A finely milled, highly pigmented colour powder from Diamond FX in a bright lemon-yellow with a jewel-like radiance. The 5g pot is designed for highlights, accents and metallic effects on the face, eyelids and body. It works for face and body painting, theatrical make-up and special-effects work.

How do you use Dust Powder Citrin?

The powder works in two ways, depending on the effect you are after.

Dry application for a soft shimmer:

• Dab the powder onto a Diamond FX Kabuki Brush or a powder brush
• Tap off any excess and apply in light layers on skin or eyelids
• Ideal for highlights on top of a finished face paint look

Mixed with Fuse Liquid for an intense metallic finish:

• Drop a few drops of Diamond FX Fuse Liquid onto a mixing palette
• Add a pinch of Dust Powder Citrin and stir to a smooth, fluid consistency
• Apply with a fine brush for detail work, liner or larger areas
• Allow a few seconds to dry for a waterproof, long-lasting result

Setting and removing

Applied dry, the powder does not need a fixative. Mixed with Fuse Liquid, it sets itself into a film layer as it dries.

Removing takes three steps:

• Wipe away the bulk of the powder with a damp cloth or remover towel
• Wash the skin with lukewarm water and Diamond FX Skin Soap for a thorough cleanse
• Wash any fabric that has caught powder at 30 degrees with regular detergent
