What is Diamond FX Fuse Liquid?

Fuse Liquid is not face paint itself, it is an activating fluid you use to modify other products. You can use it in two ways: as a powder binder or as a face paint thinner.

As a powder binder, you mix it with loose pigment powders like Diamond FX Dust, Mehron Metallic Powders or Mehron Precious Gem Powder. The powder becomes fluid and is then easy to apply directly to skin or body.

When do you choose Fuse Liquid over plain water?

Water does not bind loose powders. Fuse Liquid does, and the result becomes water-resistant once it dries. That makes it far more suitable for bodypaint, metallic effects, and long-wear use at events or on stage.

As a face paint thinner, it gives you more control for fine detail work. One or two drops make the paint flow more smoothly, without sacrificing pigment intensity.

How to use Fuse Liquid

To bind powder: place a small amount of powder on a palette or dish and add a few drops of Fuse Liquid. Stir until you get a smooth, even consistency. Apply with a brush. The liquid dries within 30 to 60 seconds and is then water-resistant.

As a thinner: add one or two drops to your face paint in the dish or directly onto the pot. Mix briefly before applying. This works well for fine lines or working with a thin brush.

Pro tip: For a fluid metallic bodypainting line, mix Mehron Metallic Powder with Fuse Liquid to a smooth consistency. Apply with a flat synthetic brush in long strokes for a sleek, high-shine finish.

Setting and removing

Wash face paint off the skin with lukewarm water and mild soap, like the Diamond FX Skin Soap (25g). Clean brushes and sponges with the Diamond FX Brush Soap (100g).
