What is Pros-Aide?
Pros-Aide is a water-based acrylic adhesive that cures into a strong, flexible film on the skin. Unlike spirit gum-style cap plastics, Pros-Aide is gentle enough for delicate areas like the hairline and around the eyes. It stays pliable after drying so it follows every movement naturally.
Use it to adhere silicone prosthetics, gelatine prosthetics, bald caps, feather or fabric wings, and rhinestones directly to the skin.

How to use Pros-Aide
- Clean the skin with alcohol or a skin cleanser to remove oils and make-up.
- Apply a thin layer to both the skin and the prosthetic using a cotton bud or brush.
- Wait until the adhesive turns clear: this takes one to two minutes and means it is contact-tacky and ready to bond.
- Place the prosthetic on the skin and press firmly for at least one minute.
- Blend the edges with a thin layer of Pros-Aide Cream for an invisible transition.
Removing Pros-Aide
Pros-Aide is a strong adhesive and won't lift with water alone. Remove it with Sherman Pro-Clean cleansing oil or Mouldlife Life Wipes (formulated specifically for Pros-Aide). Follow up with a gentle soap to remove any remaining residue.
