What are the Moonstruck Vladymyr Teeth?
The Vladymyr Teeth are handmade fake teeth by Moonstruck Effects with their "Pure Natural" finish. You see clearly extended canines in a natural white shade and a natural pink gum that flows smoothly into your own gum line. That keeps the set believable in close-up and on camera.
The teeth are handmade in their own workshop in Belgium from dental acrylic, the same material dentists use for dentures. The set comes with fitting beads (thermoplastic moulding material) that softens in hot water. Use this to make the teeth fit your own bite, so they stay firmly in place while you wear them.
Why choose the Vladymyr Teeth?
Standard party-pack vampire fangs are usually too short, too white or visibly plastic-looking. The Vladymyr goes further: long canines, a natural colour and a handmade finish that holds up under flash photography and film work.
How do you use the Vladymyr Teeth?
Place the fitting beads in hot water until they turn fully transparent and become tacky. Then roll the material into a thin strip and press it against the back of the set, where your own teeth will sit.
Place the teeth carefully over your own teeth, checking in the mirror that the set sits straight. Press firmly with both hands so the material moulds to your own teeth. Hold until the material is firm enough to hold its shape.
Carefully remove the teeth from your mouth and let the material harden fully in cold water; once the material turns white, it has hardened. After fitting, you can reuse the teeth without repeating the process.
The Vladymyr is not suitable for wearers of crowns, braces or a permanent retainer.
Cleaning and storage
Clean the teeth after use with lukewarm water; for deeper cleaning, Moonstruck cleaning tablets are available separately. Do not use boiling water or aggressive cleaners, as this can warp the material. Store the teeth in the supplied storage box, dry and out of direct sunlight.
