Moonstruck Effects Lazarus Teeth
The Moonstruck Effects Lazarus Teeth are premium undead fake teeth with a risen-from-the-dead look: regular pink gums, cracked and stained teeth plus rotting on the gums. Ideal for undead rituals, gothic horror shoots, premium cosplay and SFX portrait work.
What are the Moonstruck Lazarus Teeth?
The Lazarus Teeth are handmade fake teeth by Moonstruck Effects with Regular Pink Gums, Stained, Cracked details and Rotten Flesh and Gums. They combine the weight of a full rotting set with a Pink Gums base, which suits characters just 'returning' from the dead, but not as far gone as the Walker, yet clearly no longer alive.
The teeth are handmade in their own workshop in Belgium from dental acrylic, the same material dentists use for dentures. The set comes with fitting beads (thermoplastic moulding material) that softens in hot water. Use this to make the teeth fit your own bite, so they stay firmly in place while you wear them.
Why choose the Lazarus Teeth?
For SFX work where the horror is in the details: the Lazarus has visible cracks, stains and rotting in one set, without crossing into the out-of-mouth weight of the Walker. Strong in close-up, theatre and folk horror shoots.
How do you use the Lazarus Teeth?
Place the fitting beads in hot water until they turn fully transparent and become tacky. Then roll the material into a thin strip and press it against the back of the set, where your own teeth will sit.
Place the teeth carefully over your own teeth, checking in the mirror that the set sits straight. Press firmly with both hands so the material moulds to your own teeth. Hold until the material is firm enough to hold its shape.
Carefully remove the teeth from your mouth and let the material harden fully in cold water; once the material turns white, it has hardened. After fitting, you can reuse the teeth without repeating the process.
The Lazarus is not suitable for wearers of crowns, braces or a permanent retainer.
Cleaning and storage
Clean the teeth after use with lukewarm water; for deeper cleaning, Moonstruck cleaning tablets are available separately. Do not use boiling water or aggressive cleaners, as this can warp the material. Store the teeth in the supplied storage box, dry and out of direct sunlight.
