What are the Moonstruck Jynx Teeth?
The Jynx Teeth are handmade upper-only fake teeth by Moonstruck Effects with a Natural finish in funny-braces style. No horror, no rotting, a quirky and recognisable character tooth look for lighter cosplay and funny content.
The teeth are handmade in their own workshop in Belgium from dental acrylic, the same material dentists use for dentures. The upper-only set covers the front of your upper teeth only, so you can still speak and drink normally. It comes with fitting beads (thermoplastic moulding material) that softens in hot water for a custom fit.
Why choose the Jynx Teeth?
Not every cosplay needs horror teeth. For characters with a quirky, funny look, the Jynx is a light upper-only solution that stands out without redesigning the whole mouth.
How do you use the Jynx Teeth?
Place the fitting beads in hot water until they turn fully transparent and become tacky. Then roll the material into a thin strip and press it against the back of the set, where your own teeth will sit.
Place the teeth carefully over your own teeth, checking in the mirror that the set sits straight. Press firmly with both hands so the material moulds to your own teeth. Hold until the material is firm enough to hold its shape.
Carefully remove the teeth from your mouth and let the material harden fully in cold water; once the material turns white, it has hardened. After fitting, you can reuse the teeth without repeating the process.
The Jynx is not suitable for wearers of crowns, braces or a permanent retainer.
Cleaning and storage
Clean the teeth after use with lukewarm water; for deeper cleaning, Moonstruck cleaning tablets are available separately. Do not use boiling water or aggressive cleaners, as this can warp the material. Store the teeth in the supplied storage box, dry and out of direct sunlight.
