Mehron Wolcrepe Medium Grey (30 cm)
Mehron Crepe Hair Medium Grey is a braided strand of real sheep's wool in a neutral mid-grey shade. It's ideal for creating ageing male characters, experienced craftsmen, older villagers and middle-aged characters transitioning towards fully grey hair, for theatre, cosplay, Halloween and special effects makeup. By gently steaming the strand you can stretch it to approximately three times its original length. The wool is easy to comb out, cut and style, and attaches simply with spirit gum or latex.
How do you use Crepe Hair?
Unravel the braided strand and lightly steam the wool to relax the curls. You can then cut, shape and build up the wool layer by layer for a realistic beard, moustache or eyebrow.
Apply Mehron Spirit Gum to the skin where you want to attach the hair and allow the adhesive to dry briefly until it feels tacky. Press the crepe hair gently into the adhesive and build up in layers for extra volume and a natural result. For extra-strong adhesion during long stage days or film shoots you can also use liquid latex as an alternative to Spirit Gum.
How to remove
Remove the crepe hair together with any adhesive residue using Mehron Spirit Gum Remover on a cotton pad. Apply the remover along the edge of the adhesive area and leave for 10 to 20 seconds to work. Carefully lift away the crepe hair and clean the skin afterwards with warm water and soap.
