Use a round sponge or a butterfly sponge for covering larger areas. Apply in thin layers for the best coverage and a smooth finish.
Pro tip: For a layered ice princess look, apply Pastel Blue 116 as your base across the whole face with a sponge, then use a thin brush to add finer details and swirls in white or a deeper blue around the eyes and temples.
Setting and removing
Superstar face paint dries to a matte finish and is transfer-resistant once fully dry, so no separate setting step is needed for most uses. For longer wear at outdoor events, a light mist of fixative spray adds extra hold.
Remove with water and mild soap. For sensitive skin, the soft Wonder Towel with a little water works very gently. Avoid scrubbing and do not use baby wipes, as these can irritate the skin. You can also use a mild skin soap to help lift the colour.
