How to use it
Superstar is a water-activated face paint. Activate with a damp brush or sponge:
With a brush
- Dampen your brush and swirl it over the paint.
- Apply in thin layers for the best coverage.
- Use a round brush like the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes Linda for fine detail work.
With a sponge
- Dampen the face paint sponge using a spray bottle so it doesn't get too wet.
- Swipe the sponge over the paint and apply to skin.
- Use a round Face Paint Sponge or a Butterfly Sponge for an even base.
Pro tip: For a tiger look, apply Ochre 047 as a full base first, then add Black stripes with a thin round brush while the ochre is fully dry. Blend the edges of each stripe with a dry brush for a softer, more realistic finish.
Setting and removing
Once dry, Superstar holds well without a fixative for most events. For longer wear or outdoor use, a light mist of fixative spray helps. To remove, use water and mild soap - or a skin soap. For sensitive skin, the soft Wonder Towel with a little water works gently. Avoid scrubbing and do not use baby wipes.
