What can Transluz do that water can't?

Water breaks down the Endura formula. Transluz is a patented thinner built to match Endura's alcohol base. The make-up still adheres properly, dries flexibly, and holds its coverage - even when you thin it down to a sheer wash.

If you want to run Endura through an airbrush at lower PSI, Transluz is the right tool. You adjust the viscosity without losing colour or consistency.

When do you choose Transluz over spraying straight from the bottle?

Undiluted Endura has a higher viscosity and doesn't flow as easily at low pressure. A few drops of Transluz in the cup reduces the resistance without needing to crank up the PSI.

Choose Transluz when you want thin, buildable effects - sheer skin tones over prosthetics, realistic translucent scar effects, or layered colour built up in multiple light passes.

How to use it

Add Transluz to your Endura in the airbrush cup or a mixing container. Start with a few drops and test the viscosity before adding more. That way you keep control over thickness and coverage.

Pro tip: For a seamless skin-over-prosthetic blend, start with a heavier Endura layer at the prosthetic edge and gradually increase the Transluz ratio towards the centre. You'll get a smooth transition with no hard edges.

Compatibility and removal

Transluz works exclusively with Endura airbrush makeup on an alcohol base. It is not suitable for Encore palettes, water-based face paint, or silicone-based products.

Remove Endura and Transluz mixes with an alcohol-based make-up remover. Clean your airbrush with alcohol or a dedicated airbrush cleaner immediately after use to prevent clogging.
