How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps neon colours vibrant and sharp - work with a water bowl and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for face paint with smooth synthetic fibres that leave no fluff. For sharp neon lines and detail work, use the FBFX Round Detail Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large neon areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water prevents neon colours from blending or going dull.
• Barrier layer for intense neon colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense neon pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently rub in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
