How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - work alongside a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water at your workstation prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) with intense shades like purple, turquoise, or dark blue.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
