The ProAiir Hybrid Trauma Pack is a set of 6 ProAiir Hybrid colours in 30ml bottles, put together for realistic trauma and wound effects. From fresh abrasions and bruises to burns, yellow crusting and flesh tones. The 6 colours are matched for SFX work where you switch between shades quickly and build up layers for depth and realism. Developed for use with an airbrush. These colours can also be applied with a sponge or brush.

How to apply this pack

Shake each bottle before use. With an airbrush: fill the cup or side-feed using an Easy Pour Twist Cap or Snorkel Adapter. Set the air pressure to around 20 to 30 PSI. Hold the airbrush about 5 cm from the skin for sharp edges and further away for soft blends.

By hand: dab a small amount onto a sponge, kabuki brush or makeup brush and build up in thin layers. For sharp wound edge details, use a fineliner brush. Once dry, within seconds, the makeup is smudge-proof and waterproof. Pro tip: Start a bruise with Bruise as a broad base layer, work the edges with Yolk for the aged yellow border and add depth in the centre with Black. Use Road Rash for shallow abrasion surfaces and Blood Red for the fresh wound centre.

Setting and removing

No setting is needed. The drying process makes the makeup smudge-proof and waterproof on its own. Want an extra protective layer or a different finish? Use ProLong or ProLong Satin.

Remove with pure liquid soap without water. Massage onto the skin, wipe off with a face cloth, then rinse with water. You can also remove it with removers designed for alcohol activated makeup such as Mouldlife Life Wipes or Ben Nye Remov-it All. For mid-session corrections, alcohol on a cotton swab is the quickest option.
