The deep red formula gives teeth a freshly-bitten, blood-soaked appearance that reads convincingly from a distance. It works for vampire characters, gore make-up, zombie looks and fight scene detail where the face and teeth need to match.

The shade dries to a solid layer within seconds and holds through talking, laughing and light sips of water, making it practical for a full stage performance or a film shoot day.

When do you choose Tooth FX Blood Red over stage blood?

Stage blood runs, smears and needs reapplication. Tooth FX dries in place and stays put on the tooth surface, which is exactly what you need when a performer has to speak, sing or move freely on stage. It gives you control over exactly which teeth look affected.

The brush-in-cap design lets you work precisely on one or two teeth without contaminating the rest of the product. For multi-person use, pour a small amount onto a mixing palette and thin with a little alcohol, then apply with a separate brush for a more hygienic workflow.

How to use Tooth FX Blood Red

Dry the teeth thoroughly with a tissue first. Tooth FX only bonds to dry teeth, so remove all saliva before you start. Shake the bottle to distribute the pigment, then load the applicator brush and apply to the tooth or teeth where you want the blood effect. Keep your lips clear of the tooth while applying and hold your mouth open until the product is dry. For a deeper effect, add a second thin layer once the first has set.

Pro tip: for clean multi-person use, pour a small amount onto a mixing palette, thin with a drop of alcohol and apply with a dedicated brush. You get more control over coverage and you never dip the cap brush into product that has touched another person's mouth.

Important before use

• Natural teeth only: do not use on dentures, crowns, brackets, braces or porous tooth surfaces. On porous surfaces the product soaks in and becomes difficult to remove.
• Do not swallow: despite being non-toxic, the product is not intended for consumption.
• Avoid eating while wearing Tooth FX: the product holds through talking and light sips of water, but not through chewing or hot drinks.
• Test on one tooth first before treating the full set of teeth to check adhesion and removal.

Removing

Remove Tooth FX by brushing the teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Rinse thoroughly with water afterwards.
