Which character looks can you create with Tooth FX Black?

When do you choose Tooth FX Black over other colours?

Black is the most direct choice for creating a missing-tooth illusion. It absorbs light and reads as a void rather than a discoloured tooth. If you want a decayed-but-still-present tooth, Nicotine or Spinach Green give a more subtle effect. Blood Red suits vampire looks, while Gold works for pirate bling and cosplay characters. How to use Tooth FX Black

Step 1: prepare the teeth. Dry the teeth thoroughly with a tissue. Tooth FX only adheres to dry teeth, so remove all saliva before you start. Avoid eating or drinking for 5 minutes before application.

Step 2: shake the bottle. Shake well before use so the pigments are evenly distributed.

Step 3: apply with the brush. Dip the applicator brush into the bottle and apply Tooth FX Black to the tooth you want to conceal. Keep your lips away from the tooth during application and hold your mouth open until the paint is dry. Step 4: let it dry. Allow a few seconds to dry before closing your mouth. For full opaque black coverage you can apply a second thin layer once the first has dried. Pro tip: pour a small amount onto a mixing palette, thin it with a drop of alcohol and apply with a separate brush. This is more hygienic when working on multiple people and gives you more control over the result.

Important before use

• Natural teeth only: do not use on dentures, crowns, braces or porous tooth surfaces. On porous surfaces the paint soaks in and becomes difficult to remove.
• Do not swallow: although non-toxic, the product is not intended for consumption.
• Avoid eating with Tooth FX on: the paint withstands talking and light sips of water, but not chewing or hot drinks.
• Test on one tooth first before treating the full set of teeth to assess adhesion and removal.

Removing

Tooth FX Black is easy to remove by brushing your teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Rinse thoroughly with water afterwards.
