How to use Superstar Face Paint
Superstar is a water-activated face paint, meaning you activate it with water. Use a brush or sponge:
With a brush
- Dampen your brush and swirl it over the paint.
- Build up thin layers for the best coverage.

With a sponge
- Dampen the face paint sponge using a spray bottle so it does not get too wet.
- Swipe the sponge over the paint and apply to skin.
- Use a round face paint sponge or a Butterfly Sponge for an even base.
Setting and removing
To remove, use water and mild soap. You can also use a gentle skin soap for thorough cleansing.
For sensitive skin, the Wonder Towel with a little water works gently and effectively. Avoid scrubbing and do not use baby wipes - this can irritate the skin.
