Choose Ivory 017 when you need a pale, neutral base that does not read as stark white but still lightens the skin noticeably. It sits between Cloud White and a natural skin tone, making it ideal for gentle highlights, age stippling, or any look where pure white would be too harsh.
The glycerin-based formula is well suited to kindergrime sessions: it goes on smoothly, covers in one layer, and washes off easily with water and mild soap.
How to use it
Activate the face paint with a lightly damp round face paint brush or a damp face paint sponge. Dampen your sponge using a spray bottle so it does not become too wet. Build up thin layers for the best coverage. For fine detail work, use a round brush; for an even base across larger areas, use a round sponge or a butterfly sponge.
Pro tip: For a quick aged look, apply Ivory 017 over the whole face as a pale base, then use a fine brush to draw wrinkle lines in a warm brown shade. Blend lightly with a dry sponge for a softer, more natural result.
Setting and removing
Superstar face paint dries quickly and holds well without a fixative for most stage and children's party situations. For long events or outdoor use, set it with a light mist of fixative spray. To remove, use water and mild soap or a gentle skin soap. For sensitive skin, the Wonder Towel with a little water works gently and effectively. Do not scrub and avoid baby wipes, as these can irritate the skin.
