Bright Yellow is one of the most versatile colours in face painting. Use it as a base for Pikachu, sunflowers, bees, butterflies and lions. It also works brilliantly as a highlight shade on fantasy and carnival designs.
The glycerin base means the colour activates smoothly and blends easily, whether you are working with a brush for fine lines or a sponge for a solid base.
When do you choose Bright Yellow over other yellows?
Bright Yellow 044 is a clean, warm yellow with strong pigmentation. Choose this colour when you need solid coverage in one or two layers - for example for a full Pikachu face or a bold flower design. It sits firmly on skin without fading quickly.

How to use it
Activate with a lightly damp FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes Linda or sponge. Dampen your face paint sponge using a spray bottle so it does not get too wet. Use a Round Sponge or a Butterfly Sponge for an even base. Build coverage in thin layers for the cleanest result.
Pro tip: For a Pikachu look, apply Bright Yellow as a full-face base with a sponge first. Once dry, use a fine brush to add the dark ear tips and cheek patches in black and brown on top.
Setting and removing
Superstar face paint dries quickly and holds well without a separate fixative. To remove, use water and mild soap, or a gentle skin soap. For sensitive skin, the Wonder Towel with a little water works gently and effectively. Do not scrub and avoid wet wipes - these can irritate the skin.
