Light Grey 071 sits in the lighter range of greys, making it ideal as a highlight or mid-tone when working alongside a darker grey or black. It covers well enough to use as a standalone base on light to medium skin tones.
Choose this shade when you need a soft grey that blends without going too dark - useful for children's face painting where a subtler effect is often better than a heavy charcoal tone.
How to use it
Activate with a slightly damp round face paint brush for detail work, or use a face paint sponge dampened with a spray bottle for an even base. Roll the brush or sponge over the paint and apply in thin layers. For a smooth base, a round sponge or butterfly sponge works well.
Pro tip: For a wolf look, apply Light Grey 071 as a full base, then blend a darker grey or black around the eye sockets and muzzle for depth. Add white highlights along the nose ridge to finish.
Setting and removing
Superstar face paint dries quickly and stays put without a fixative for most face painting events. To remove, use water and mild soap or a gentle skin cleanser.
