What's in the Senjo-Color Basic Set?
A selection of the most popular 75 ml Senjo-Color water-based paint bottles. Each bottle is dermatologically tested, made in Germany in compliance with EU Cosmetics Regulation, and water-soluble. Colours mix together, so you can build a wide colour range from the basics in the set.
Why a basic set?
A set means you have all the key colours to hand straight away, without building up a collection one bottle at a time. If you're just starting out, the essentials are already covered. For experienced artists, it's a handy top-up or backup supply for the colours you use most.
How do you use the Basic Set?
Airbrush: use a 0.2 to 0.4 mm needle for detail work and lines, 0.5 to 0.8 mm for larger areas. Work at around 0.6 bar for smooth shading. No airbrush? A makeup sponge or brush works just as well.
The colours mix together, so you can blend your own transitions and custom shades using the bottles in the set. Build up thin layers for full coverage. For a complete bodypaint on a slim adult, allow around 70 to 100 ml per colour with airbrush, or 100 to 150 ml with a sponge.
Setting and removing
On dry skin the paint stays put well. For extra durability, finish with setting powder or a layer of setting spray.
Removal is straightforward with water and soap. For a more comfortable removal, use the super soft remover towel, which lifts more paint from the skin and feels gentler than a flannel or makeup remover wipes. A good skin soap takes care of any remaining traces. Stains on clothing? Rinse immediately with cold water before putting the item in the washing machine. Wash on a maximum of 30 degrees.
